January and February Dates - January 20, 2009
I've posted new dates for January and February. I'll be touring the East Coast with outstanding songwriter/singer and all around badass, Alligator recording artist Eric Lindell. We'll be coming through my old stomping grounds in Charlotte, NC, Charlottesville, VA and DC, and doing some shows with Anders Osbourne. If you don't know Eric you should...these shows will be totally off the hook.

Tom Morgan, radio host and musicologist on New Orleans' WWOZ, has picked my debut solo cd Toiling in Obscurity as one of his top 5 releases for 2008.
Tom hosts 2 shows on OZ, Jazz Roots (Wed 9:00-11:00AM) and "The Tuesday Flavor of the New Orleans Music Show" (Tues 11:00am-2:00PM).
This is a great honor for me; when he told me I was totally speechless (well, almost).

Toiling in Obscurity is Available NOW! - January 5, 2009
My debut solo CD "Toiling in Obscurity" is finally out and available. Reaction has been great here in New Orleans after a truly fabulous release party at DBA December 4th. I'm getting steady (and much appreciated) airplay on WWOZ, New Orleans' one-of-a-kind radio station (www.wwoz.org). It's just now reaching the hipper radio stations around the country, and I'll post more info about who's playing it and where.
